The Victoria Ice Rink was built in 1862, after the Dutch brought the
first skates into North Amecica in the early 1800's.

The Montreal Victoria's won four "AHAC"-championships between 1894
and 1894 and five Stanley Cups between 1895 and 1899.

The first Stanley Cup won by a Canadian team was won by
the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association in 1883.

The Montreal Shamrocks won the Stanley Cup in 1899 and 1900.

The Montreal Wanderers won the Stanley Cup
four times between 1906 and 1910.
